Marie Wesbur Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Marie Wesbur, age 93, who died Friday at the Assumption Home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. followed by a rosary with the Christian Women. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service on Wednesday afternoon in the St. Boniface Church Narthex. Marie was born in Lake Henry, MN to Lawrence and Anna (Gruber) Haider. She married Paul Wesbur on August 13, 1983 in Cold Spring. Marie worked briefly at Assumption Home in Cold Spring, but her passion in life was taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, farming and traveling. Marie was a member of St. Boniface Christian Women and St. Julians Mission Group, Sts. Peter & Paul Christian Women in Elrosa and Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include her husband, Paul; children, Melvin (Carol) Hagemeier, Alvin (Donna) Hagemeier, Rose (Charlie) Leyendecker, Audrey Schwagel, Joseph (Chris) Hagemeier; siblings, Lawrence Haider Jr., Bernie Massmann, Margaret Meyer, Helen Haider; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leander Hagemeier and Wally Steil; siblings, Rudy Haider, Joseph Haider; in-laws, Eugene Meyer, Eddie Massmann; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
