Verdella "Della" A. Jungels

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Verdella “Della” A. Jungels, age 84, who died Thursday at Assumption Home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The service will be live streamed at www.christcatholic.com. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. in the church narthex prior to the service. Della was born in Roscoe, MN to John and Frances (Mackedanz) Brinker. She married Gervase Jungels May 14, 1957, in St. James Catholic Church, Jacobs Prairie and they were blessed with 5 children. Della liked cooking and was known for her German potato salad, quilting, reading, embroidery, fishing and frying fish, refinishing furniture, going to the casino and babysitting the grandkids. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and Christian Women. She is survived by her children, Allen (Mary), Sandy (Jeff) Eiynck, Brian, Carrie Etter (Joe Faulkner), Lisa (Dale) Heinen; siblings, Richard Brinker, Arthur (Arlene) Brinker, John (Gloria) Brinker, Joan Olmscheid, Doris (Jack) Torberg, Dennis Brinker; grandchildren, Stephanie, Zachary, Kristina, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Quinn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gervase (2015); son-in-law, Clayton Etter; siblings, Gilbert (Esther) Brinker, Ronald Brinker, Mary Jane Brinker, Ruth (Carl) Mueller; in-laws, Mary Brinker and Sylvester Olmscheid.
